All Star Weekend + Loose Cash + Strippers = Wicked Games

A wise man once told me "Don't watch the game son, WATCH THE GAME."

Casual sports fan enjoy the game at eye level, Kevin Durant scores 30 points so he is great. Dedicated fanatics can tell you that KD exploits a flat footed defender expecting a pick and roll to cross back over for an easy jumper. It is the theory of watching the game on a different level unbeknownst to the casual fan. The game within the game. So while listening to the top 40 radio station and hearing about the upcoming all star weekend events in Houston, the game within the game revealed its ugly head.

The event is expected to bring in millions of dollars for the city of Houston. Along with it will come celebrities, entertainers, athletes, and of course strippers! Thousands of out of town pimps and strippers will pack the countless nude bars that populate Richmond, Westheimer and other avenues.

Beware of these scoundrels! They may have a face like Kim Kardashian, breast like Katy Perry, and an ass like Serena Williams but these scallywags are after your soul! That perfume is just masking the death and decay of her breathe, that live strong armband is covering up the crack needle injection points. These vampires have the audacity to solicit in broad daylight. They feed on the many social metrics of a man; money, ego, testosterone and lust. So as one of these wraiths tempt thee with with their goddess rivaling beauty, BEWARE. The wicked games may feed that temporary desire, but  herpes is forever!

My Kick Start

Glad to see Cee Hawk reopen the blog. O! where to begin...I could talk politics (probably the only reason Cam ever invited me to blog) or sports, but I'm not gonna. Its 2013 baby! I for one feel pretty damned good about it.  Despite all the talk about taxes, dysfunctional government, debt & deficit, and whatever else. Just remember; your well-being and success is up to you and you alone.  If taxes go up, who cares?

I said I wasn't going to talk politics...guess I lied. To get back on track I guess I'd say....have fun. Its that simple. Rather than buy the newest model car, a TV two inches bigger, a new pair of skinny jeans; why not take a friend to dinner or take a weekend trip somewhere you've never been.  Stop giving a shit about "entertainment news". Its poison.  Akin to BET.  What do the actions of a celebrity stranger have to do with you or anyone you care about?  Be open to new ideas and experiences.  Question your preconceptions each and every time they're questioned.  Run your own race. Your timetable in life his different from anyone else you know (this is not a bad thing).

In short. We are young people. No need to stay trapped in the long dead world of your parents.  Let's go do this.

Also, lose weight. Get healthy, get in shape!  Cudos to Cam.

kicking off 2013

So yeah, I know. It's been almost two years since myself or any of the writers associated with this blog have posted anything. Life happens. one of us got married, and had a kid. Another has been back and forth across the country on business. Another rededicated themselves to fitness, and has been really MIA as far as writing goes. So yeah, life. But as other things have been going on, I think we've all kept an eye on whats going on around us, be it in music, sports, politics, and just the American culture in general. Lord willing ,we'll all find the time to contribute and say provide you all with some quality posts, and also start to provide some audio updates as well!
