PANTHEON EPISODE ALERT! Even though it's been a short run, THIS IS the episode of 'Preacher' you go and show your friends not familiar with the material. In "Sundowner", Jesse's arrogance (and maybe guilt?) reaches new heights, Cassidy struggles w/ the "homies over heauxs" conundrum (a phrase, not an indictment), and Eugene's newfound friendships help him give him some clarity in a world quickly falling apart. Angels fighting vampires fighting martial artists? Check. Piles of bodies filling hotel rooms? Check. People quite literally going to Hell? Check. Skinny guys doing laundry in their underpants? DOUBLE CHECK. The war between Heaven and Hell seems to have some very clear lines, and when those are crossed? Well, we get a TV show!!!
